What’s New

This week we have made great improvements in our API Connectors. Now you can used them even easier with their improved API Schema Editor
No API service is difficult to use any more! The API Schema Editor now offers you to enter just the dynamic data expressions and smartly retain all the static data.

Great performance improvements in out Server Connect! Now running concurrent Server Action on PHP servers will be even faster than before!

Furthermore we have made greatly improved the Framework 7 integration - now even more elements can be edited in design view directly!

Last but not least Wappler has lost some weight now - as we optimized the installation and made it even smaller than before!

API Connectors

• Improved the Schema editor to handle JSON input data
• Greatly extended API Action and API Form to be able to post Input Data, Query Parameters or API Headers as Dynamic Attributes. This way case sensitive attributes are possible
• Greatly Improved the API Schema Editor dialog to show only the values for the dynamic expressions that needs to be filled in. So the rest of the supplied Input Data, Query or Headers is retained for the schema fetch but only dynamic parts are replaced.

Asset Manager

• Improved custom web root handling in Routing Manager and Assets Manager

Framework 7

• Made much more Framework 7 elements text editable in Design View
• Allow Content Page Includes under View in Framework 7
• Improved template support

General

• Greatly reduced size of the extensions bundled with Wappler - resulting in smaller installer size
• Improved size reset of the App Structure panel
• Updated the Chrome engine to the latest

Design View

• Only allow selection of body and nodes inside body in design view
• Improved initial selection on new pages to allow direct elements insertion when frameworks are loaded

File Manager

• Improved file rename directly after creation

• Improved inline field validation in the properties inspector. Specially for the Dynamic Attributes, toggle class or style
