BACKGROUND
I run several e-commerce businesses one on wordpress/woocommerce, two on Shopify and one on bubble. I have a developer starting next week to embark on learning Wappler and building the first fully-functional site.
The first site we are building in Wappler is a subscription site, that currently processes thousands of transactions every day. We are integrating with Braintree API so we can use stored credit card and PayPal.
Currently, that site is running on a fast server on wordpress / mysql but it’s still slow in the backend…just to get reports out of the database can take a very long time and often crashes or runs out of memory.
QUESTION
I want our new site to be lightning-fast for SEO reasons so I will be hosting on an extremely fast server on linode.com with a Sydney server (as our customers are in Australia)
I’m wondering what the best hosting environment should be, so far I have deduced the following (but I am no expert)
- Cent os 7
- NGINX
- NodeJS
- MariaDB
I am also interested in docker as I believe the above combination can be set up in containers.
If anyone is an expert and can provide some guidance I would appreciate it? If you can also explain the reason behind any recommendations that would be fantastic too!
