Finally Docker is talking to Wappler on my Ubuntu Server :)

After a few days of headbutting a wall, a DDoS attack, a lot of beer, and a sore posterior from sitting in the chair, I’ve come to the conclusion that it was well worth the effort…!

Finally, a completely functional server with Wappler integration to Docker (and no errors  or messing about with containers, one click and it’s done  )

So all I have to do now is transfer lots of websites and email accounts, I’ve also found a nice, low-cost email host for numerous domains:) www.migadu.com - cost is $29per month you can setup as many domains as you want in it and very easy to set up DNS with Cloudflare.

After that’s done, I’ll save over $3K each year in hosting fees.

It was a pain to set up, but I’m glad now that it’s up and running  As long as the next 7 days go to plan and nothing screws up.

Thanks to @JonL for pointing me to Cloudflare, hopefully that will minimise the risk of further DDoS attacks.

Also for those of you having to do your own copy writing here is a great little website https://quillbot.com

If you are looking to set a server up I’ve used: Ubuntu 20.4 / aaPanel / docker on a 16 Core Server with 24GB ram.

Now time for SLEEP !!!
