Automatic Tree Expansion

As I am developing I found something that is extremely annoying to me and perhaps others as well. It’s the issue of having to click my way through each level of a tree. This can take me down 7 or 8 levels before I reach the element of my choosing.

Example:

The App Structure: Under APP I may have 7 or 8 elements and each element may have multiple elements below it and so on. I have to click on each element to expand to the next level. It’s time-consuming, to say the least.

Possible Solution: Create a + and a - icon beside the include icon. The user would then highlight the element and either expand the tree (+) or collapse it (-).

This would make navigating so much easier.
