Equip Slideshow Images with an ALT attribute

I have a very fastidious client who is adament on having an ALT attribute included for all images. This is exacerbate by what MDN declares in

The problem is that the Slideshow component does not facilitate adding the ALT attribute to images.

Please give this request a high priority!
