Options to open page in split view / App connect toggle off

Hi,

As much as I like being given the option to switch from design view, code and split and to toggle off the app connect, I would like to see a setting in the options to set default view(Design/Code/Split) and default toggle app connect (On/Off) so that when I open a new page I don’t have to manually switch to Split view and toggle app connect to off each time.
