Turn Off *Database Connection Test* On [Database Connection Save]

My login details for my local and remote databases are different. I can’t change that right now.

So I need to update my Database Connection details when I upload to the remote server.

I want to specify localhost as the server address. However I can’t do that, as the connection gets tested upon save and I am not local to my remote host at that time.

Please can the Database Connection Test just be left to the [Test Connection] button and not forced upon us when we don’t need it upon the [Database Connection Save]?
