When creating a new file then I would like to choose which kind of file

When creating a new file in the file manager, I would like to have the possibility to choose which type of file (htm, asp, php, css,…)
Right now it creates a file ‘untitled.html’, whereas my project settings are defined as classic asp. It would be more convenient if the new file would be ‘untitled.asp’ instead.
