Design view breaks intermittently in 'layout' on a NodeJS brand new project

Expected behavior

What do you think should happen?

I should be able to build a layout in design view.

Actual behavior

What actually happens?

Design view whites out when I put the ‘view > content’ within another div.

Works again when I remove App Connect.
