Not all my elements appear in the action menu of a server action

I’m trying to create a sever action using Wappler 2.8.1

I defined several variables:

However, when I try to access them from within a step that inserts a record in the database, this is what I see:

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I am very confused by all this.
