Slideshow --> Add Images Folder not working properly

Expected behavior

Slideshow --> Add Images Folder
The images from the new selected folder are added to the existing images

Actual behavior

Slideshow --> Add Images Folder
The new selected folder replaces the existing images
The previously placed images are deleted !
