Strange error creating S3 provider. Or me?

Hi Wappler group. Um, well - I am a new member to ya’ll family. I am defiantly green on the wappler interface but not green in the coding world.

Created a s3 provider - input a name, service, region, and its keys ---- then “SAVE”.

I go to create a action to display the file list but when i click away it pops a box that server-action file is not saved yet (im pretty sure i saved it) but i hit the save button anyway and carry on.

here is the “strange”: its giving me a “Field is required!” warning right on the + button to create an action and isn’t highlighting any missing field.

I’ve re-done this a number of times and im just lost - I hope i can get some feedback that would point me in the right direction.
