Any suggestions to stop drop down in navbar turning blue and all the links turning blue

I have a drop down in the Navigation.
Works ok, however when you click on the link (which is on the same page) it turns all the links blue and when you reselect the drop down the back ground is blue and not white.
When you refresh the page it all returns to how it should do, until you click the link again.
