Hi Wappler Family,
I’ve been building a custom CMS for our site and I just had a couple of questions to run by you.
At the moment I have a post.php file that creates the articles along with an edit.php file which is the ‘backend’ to edit said posts.
I have an article.php file that displays the article contents on the site through a server connect.
Although, a couple of things are off at the moment - maybe I’m just overlooking something.
1) On page load it takes a few seconds for what looks like the page is filling in the fields i.e title takes a few milliseconds to populate but it is noticable same as the body and the rest of the page where the server connect is providing article details… should I instead be using a server include for the actual articles content to provide a better load.
2) The titles on Google’s search sometimes show as {{title}} which tells me it’s not rendering the page correctly on the crawl… maybe I’m missing something. The {{title}} on page load does work and changes the title of the page correctly to what the article is.
I’m hoping some of the Wappler gods can provide some insight into this for me.
Cheers and thanks for reading my ramblings again,
Kieren
PS. On further thinking, should I be loading the content for the article in a different way? Or is server connect the way to go. Cheers.
