2 Problems 4.4.5 Mac Intel /Target Remote

When in Database Manager if I left-click an existing Database Connection I get a popup warning “You have to specify Remote Target first”

I am sitting in Target: LOCAL but when I switch to my 2nd Target which is an FTP target the Target: still says LOCAL.

And in the PROJECT SETTINGS this definition’s SAVE button does not function. The only way to remove this tab view is to CANCEL.

I haven’t had a problem with this or in knowing whether I am in Remote or Local target. The setting for both local and remote targets is “Development”.

How does Wappler logic distinguish LOCAL from REMOTE?
And why is there no way to ASSIGN a Setting as THE Local and another as THE REMOTE?
