Hello, I’ve been using Wappler now for 4 days and while I see the tremendous potential, I am ever growing frustrated with things that don’t seem to make sense (although it is probably something I’m doing wrong).
What I’m trying to accomplish is to build a dynamic page that will provide a dashboard view to a user based on the user role. The page has a MENU bar at the top and ideally should have a left SIDE MENU which acts like an Offcanvas but doesn’t completely disappear. It simply retracts back enough to display the Icons giving the user more screen space.
Every time I create a project and build the page, it does not show in the browser correctly if at all. Here are the following errors:
- sometimes I get a 404 page not found
- everytime I use a content or layout page (JS), the page loads but everything just lines up on the left side in a non formatted way and of course nothing works (menu options, etc.)
- I tried creating the page using a HTML5 page and a CSS page, the page loads only if I manually put the name of the file (index.html) in the address bar.
I will admit the following:
I’m using Bootstrap 5 beta 3 local.
While I’ve used Bootstrap in the past, it is not my favourite choice since I’ve been using React+Material-ui in my previous projects.
Has anyone else run into a similar problem? How can I solve this? All/any help is always greatly appreciated!
Lastly, since Nodejs & JS have been implemented into Wappler, when can we see React/Material-ui being implemented as a Framework? Does anyone else feel that the 1 week free trial is a bit short for such a complex and expansive app?
Cheers,
Ken
