Wasting time is not fun. Especially whenever it’s with an easy task. Often I have to download bank info, and other large data dumps to then import the data to smaller platforms via CSV or XML files.
I loath this process… I’m guessing it is mostly because I don’t do it often enough to remember what I did the last time! Or maybe it’s just the result of my ‘old man brain’ that can no longer remember how I did it successfully on previous attempts.
Usually, when I do finally get it to work, I just leave it alone! I usually don’t have a clue what I did to make it work! Do I don’t have to tell you that I dread it when I have to do another some time later. Yep, you guessed it, it takes me another hour to wrestle with the process, and if I do get it to work, again I have no clue what it was I did.
Does anyone else have trouble with this? If you have mastered this task, please share your expertise. Haha!
Seriously, which is easier? Or best method to import? CSV or XML? I do look forward to your opinions…
