Sidebar toggle problems

Hi,

I would like to use toggler for the sidebar.

But, it is shown like the following image.

what I would like to do is,

1. sidebar overlaps the main contents
2. main contents should not be shrunk when sidebar is shown
3. when sidebar is shown, the main contents should be darker than usual color
4. without close button, if touched anywhere other than sidebar, sidebar should be closed

How can I do them??
