I just spent a while trying to work out what was going on in a project after Tagify was throwing errors when I toggled some conditional regions on a multi-step form.
It appears that if the Tagify component is the immediate child of the conditional div, it tries to initialise again when the region is toggled (first show is fine, but hide and re-show and it throws the error)
The simple fix is to place the Tagify inside a flex container, column or other child of the conditional region.
Hoping this might save some time/pain for others using Tagify and conditional regions together, like I was.
