Trouble creating database connection

I just cannot create the database connection. I read others’ questions and feedback and still cannot figure it out.

This are my steps:
Connection Properties -> Name: connection1 -> Connection Options: “You have to specify Remote Target in Project Options and Activate it first”

Feedback would be highly appreciated.
