The last update of Wappler before we hit 2.0! With hot new technologies for you!

The new Design View now has an awesome inline column resize handles for Bootstrap 4 columns that fully visually resize your columns based on the device view and the active responsive break points!

Also the totally renewed Project Manager is now available! Now you can organize your projects in folders and quickly search the right project! You can also quickly take a screenshot in design view for a project thumbnail!

Note - this is the last stable version of Wappler 1.9.x release.

There won’t be a new update next week as we are diving now in full development of version 2.
After that you will see a few beta’s first before the final, so you can give it a test run.

Design View Rebuild (experimental)

• New inline responsive resize of Bootstrap 4 columns!
  Now you can resize any Bootstrap 4 column by dragging the dedicated handle on the right side or add an offset by dragging the left handle.
  It also follows the responsive design and the current selected device size like:

• when Full is selected as device - the last active device size is adjusted
• when specific device size is selected - or CTRL is clicked during the resize - the specific device size is adjusted.

• Greatly optimized GPU performance
• More keys added (p to toggle preview, s to toggle size info)
• Shorter titles
• Added HiDPI support for retina resolutions

New Projects Manager (experimental)

• first implementation of the new projects manager and pickup
• Project Manager: implemented drag and drop ordering of project in folders
• Added the new Project Manager also for the Mobile projects

Assets Manager (experimental)

• Greatly improved drag & drop in Assets Manager and also Project Manager
• Added Assets Manager also for Mobile projects
• Added tooltips for the masonry icons views
• Added also a list view
• Make the Panel resizable and remember sizes
• Assets Panel list view - better break long titles
• Improved styling

General

• Added “Make Project Thumbnail” icon to design view
• Completely rewritten the fontawesome icons handling in Wappler’s own UI. Huge speed gain now

Fixes

• don’t rewrite include tags and also not existing urls - like routes
• fixed first insert to be inside projects
• fixed empty blocks panel on blank pages - now goes to elements if no blocks are available
• fixed some BS4 icons
• Refresh Active Target menu after project targets edit/rename
