Another great update showing you off our new UI plans for the upcoming Wappler 3.0!
Now we have fully implemented our Visual Expression Builder as experimental feature, in the rest of the Wappler UI!

In All the App Structure Property Panels, in Server Connect, Data Formatters and Flow!
Note this is quite a fundamental change - So give it a good testing and report all your findings in our community.

Also we are starting to integrate some Visual Tours for Learning Wappler!
Just to give you a sneak peak of what we have in mind we have added a help icon in the App Structure panel to start a tour. More tour will follow!

General

• Greatly improved visuals of the Property Inspectors. Now labels become blue when the default value has been changed. So you can easily see your changed properties. Same was already the case in the Design Panel

Visual Expression Builder Pickup

• Set initial selected expression tag to the last one
• On expandable nodes - first expand and then select as tag on click
• Shorten better some generic expressions like input.value to input… as the value is generic part
• Improved selection after typing in a visual expression builder entry in the Data Bindings Picker
• Improved display shortener for long expression in the Visual Expression Builder
• Added Visual Expression Builder to all Server Connect UIs and Flow

Insert Elements

• Always keep the focus on the search entry field, even after settings or categories changes

App Connect Flow

• Improved FLow actions
• Added new Flow Action to run JavaScript Function

Database Connector

• Improved alert when editing Database Connection but local target is selected

App Structure

• Improved add element content panel to not allow nested insertions for components that do not allow nested tags like server connect and flow.

Google Maps

• Fixed typo in markerpositionchanged event
