What’s New

This week we are getting more in to the new and upcoming features of Wappler 4!
So please welcome the new Server Connect Editor!

Now you can open any Server Connect API action in a separate tab editor. This offers you great flexibility in editing Server Connect actions visually on much larger canvas.
You can also work on multiple Server Actions simultaneously and save them when needed, just like any files your are working on.

Server Connect works as you are used to it, but you can now open the action for extended editing with the “Edit in Editor” icon from the toolbar or by double clicking.
Note this is still an early preview, so test it and provide us with feedback.

On the components side, we have extended the Stripe Connector to include special advanced properties for each Server Connect Action to allow you to use custom Stripe Connect account or API key.

And last but not least we have greatly improved the stability and our error reporting and logging.
So you should see a good speed improvement and no more crashes or delays!

NEW: Server Connect Actions Editor

• Server Connect API actions can now be fully edited in the main editor!
• Just open them in the editor with the Server Connect toolbar or double click
• When Server Connect actions is being edited in the main editor the edit Server Connect panel display just the full actions list tree
• Switching between Server Connect Editor tabs - selects the right action in the Server Connect panel if open

Stripe Connector

• Updated definitions to the latest Stripe API
• Allow passing Advanced Options for each api call, like a Stripe Connect Account or a custom API key

General

• Improve the main title bar resizability on Windows
• New resizable split view component for resizing the design and code view in split mode
• Limit the width of the left panel for Server Connect and others. If you want wider - use the Server COnnect Editor in tabs now
• Greatly improved general stability

Fixed issues

• Beta 5 - window become too small
• Stripe: Application Fee Error due to header flaw - Needs fix for Stripe tech support
• Wappler 4 beta 3: Wappler freezes on selecting "Design" view
• 4.0 beta 4: "Open Existing Folder" for a project doesn't work
