What’s New
As the Wappler 5 release is imminent, this is the final beta before the official release.
In this update we are presenting you the new resource Manager, now extended with full support of Managed Databases! So creating a new high performance and high availability database for both development and production is now just a few clicks away!

Furthermore we have also added Linode as supported cloud provider in the Resource Manager, so you can use it to deploy servers there as well.
We have also greatly improved server creation in the resource manager, now we start with bare bone Ubuntu server and automatically install docker to it for the most lean and clean installation.
Resource Manager
- Add support for fully managing Database Clusters (aka Managed Databases) for Digital Ocean
- Added destroy option of the Database Clusters on Digital Ocean
- Retrieve and store the Database Clusters info and display in the property inspector
- Store both public and private connection settings from the Database Clusters
- Show the available databases under the Database Cluster
- Improved import of existing database clusters, now with automatic all database names inside
- Improved creation status tracking of different resources
- Added Refresh and Delete actions to the context menu for all resource types
- Added full support for Linode Cloud Provider. Now you can fully create and manage servers on Linode
- Improved server creation progress for all providers
- Improved SSH key assigning when adding new provider
- Improved error reporting on inaccessible servers on refresh
- Show all progress messages also in the output panel below
- Show the output of the packages and docker install as well
- Improved provider server provisitioning and system packages update before usage
- Improved server creation messages and wait till the server is booted up to proceed with setup
- Improved system install and setup for Digital Ocean and Hetzner services. it is much more reliable and smoothly now.

Project Targets Manager
- Greatly improved target database settings
- Now next to just docker databases, you choose from the Cloud Databases defined in the resource Manager, or choose completely custom connection
- Add database settings also for regular non docker targets and automatically create the database connections for Server Connect and the Database Manager
- Improved docker database targets generation and automatic connection generation to use the right settings for local and remote
- Improved Heroku and Firebase targets to not mix with docker database settings
- Improved working with Cloud databases per target - now easily pick from existing cloud database clusters defined in the resource manager and then their databases
- Generate automatically db connections for local as well remote targets
General
- Show global unhanded errors only in the terminal below
