What's New

This week we have greatly improved the Bootstrap Form Generator to be much more smarter and handy based on your feature requests in our community.
So now it retains much more your existing form inputs placeholders, help texts and even auto adds a spinner on the submit button that gets activated when the form is submitted.

Further more we have improved the output for the experimental Query Builder and working with schemas in MS SQL Server and Postgres.

Bootstrap Form generator 4 & 5

  • Retain existing placeholders on regenerate
  • Retain existing disabled dynamic attributes on regenerate
  • Add automatically spinner on submit buttons, that is shown when the action is executing
  • Add disabled state on submit buttons when action is executing
  • Retain existing help texts if used on regenerate
  • Retain validations of all inputs after regeneration. Also retain other general attributes as well if specified
  • Improved UI

Database Connector & Query Builder

  • Improved output metadata for schema based databases like MS SQL Server and Postgres
  • Clarify that live executing queries for testing is only allowed on direct database connections.

Database Updater

  • Added support for insert into subtable in asp.net

NodeJS

  • Improve database resultset, format datetime in local datetime string and check for json

General

  • Improved auto editing in main layout pages when not open yet and saving the content pages
  • Improved auto opening new pages on projects

App Connect

  • Added checked/unchecked events to checkbox component
  • Allow empty values on all Set Value actions for inputs
  • Updated App Connect to support startup hooks for upcoming improved mobile support
  • Checkbox/radio group should not default value to 1
