Character encoding WP json issue

I am displaying titles from my Wordpress via api, everything works except i get titles showing – insdead of “-” and other characters and not en/decoded.

I understand its related to encoding but is this something i fix on wappler end of wp ?

The raw output from wp show shows – do i decode that somewhere in wappler?
