Filtering mosaic by textfield with dynamic lazy load => wrong data shown

I filter a database with a simple textfield. it works perfectly either with a repeat list or also mosaic showing the images linked in the database.
if I change the dynamic image source to dynamic lazy load (which would make the page much more responsive on older systems), the images shown are not the images being filtered. is this a bug? again, I’m only switching to dynamic lazy load, the database connection is exactly the same. without it, filtering works flawlessly.
