Having trouble connecting to the database

I’m setting up a new dynamic site and have successfully created a connection and can view/edit my tables in the database manager. However I get a 500 error on my API php script file when I try to display my webpages on the browser. Appears to be an issue with the fetch.js script.

I’m just using a simple query to display dynamic data on my test webpage.
