Is a node content page the same as content page?

Hi

When in my node project I create a content page using the “+” option and then choose content page.

But I can also use the down arrow and select content page, but they are not the same - it is a HTML page not a node js content page. But I can also choose to create a HTML page

Am I missing something here? Is there a reason we have 2 content page types?
