Just been trying out the Database Manager…I usually use MS Sql Server but have been struggling to get this to connect via Database Manager (either server connect or direct).
I decided to try with a Maria DB database. This works fine using a Xampp database, and the Database Manager looks great!
I also tried using Wappler’s Docker integration, I want to use Maria DB and, whilst I get a connection to the database if I try to edit fields I get:
I wanted to check if this is a ‘Docker thing’, or a ‘Wappler thing’? Docker’s docs suggest it runs Maria DB using InnoDB by default, so I’m thinking it must be how Wappler creates Maria DB databases via Docker?
I know I can change the engine , but it would be good if Wappler could be set to create a Maria DB using InnoDB in the first place so the created DB is compatible with the Database Manager from the off?
If it’s a ‘Docker thing’ is there any way I can change settings within Docker so it defaults to InnoDB?
