Decided to give Docker/Digtial Ocean one last shoot before giving up on two weeks of efforts. Deleted my test sites in Wappler, removed all droplets on DO - clean start. Printed the Wappler tutorials - so I could review/check boxes/double down on each step.
Made it to the point the of getting an API Key and all I get an error something’s wrong please try again. Tried different browser, cleared cache, posted with tech support - since they don’t have chat available - 15 hours later - That should happen please provide a screen shot.
In the waiting time, I went over to Fast Comet and setup an account and tested there environment. Got up to the point of loading the package.json for Node v14 - they didn’t have v16, which I think Wappler is using – and got two pages of update notifications and deprecated warnings - and enough…
Fast Comet did have online 24/7 chat technical support, has NodeJS setup in a CPanel, says you can have unlimited NodeJS sites on a shared server.
If there is anyone who has successful worked with Fast Comet, please speak up. I think it is a viable option for us old PHPers to learn from, but I’ve exhausted my NodeJS training. Back to delivery mode.
