Question about Wappler vs custom code etc

Just a quick question. Unlike Bubble, it seems like Wappler is more custom code and allows you to edit and change the code directly. Just wondering though, worst case scenario, say Wappler just disappears or gets bought out or something, what happens to my application then? Can any developer just go in and keep editing it manually or would it be hard without the Wappler application?

Is there anything in an app I’d build that is specific to Wappler, or is the idea that with Bootstrap and whatnot, it’s using common web technologies vs anything proprietary?
